Cardiac CT Calcium Score
Cardiac calcium scoring tests can be used to determine the risk of cardiovascular disease and heart disease. The tests use a multi-slice CT scanner for the detection of small amounts of calcium or plaque in the coronary arteries. Images can show whether the coronary arteries are narrowed or blocked by any calcium or plaque build-up, which can be an indicator of heart disease. CT Cardiac Calcium scoring has been shown to be superior to standard treadmill stress testing for the diagnosis of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD).

Galleri Early Cancer Detection Test
Today, most cancers are found too late and are often deadly. The earlier cancer is identified, the greater the chance of successful treatment & survival. Galleri can detect many of the unscreened cancers that cause 71% of cancer deaths every year & detect cancer signals across more than 50 types of cancer with a low-false positive rate of 0.5%. (A simple blood draw and results within 10 days.)

Food Sensitivity Testing
This at-home lab test measures your body’s immune response to 96 foods to help guide you on what types of food to prioritize in a two-part elimination diet.
Genetic Fitness and Nutrition Testing
The body’s unique genetic makeup determines how it best reacts to specific diet and exercise strategies for weight management. .e science of genetic testing can help identify the genes that dictate how
the body processes carbohydrates, fats, proteins, and micro-nutrients and how patients respond to di¡erent types of exercise. Weight loss programs tailored to an individual’s DNA has been proven to be much more effective than one-size-fits-all programs because they take the guesswork out of health management.

Low-Dose CT Lung Screening
Low-Dose CT lung screenings have proved to be an effective tool for early detection of lung cancer, the leading cause of cancer-related death in the United States. Routine chest X-rays are often unable
to detect lung cancers until they are of advanced stage. Low-dose CT can greatly improve the likelihood of detection of early lung cancers, enabling treatment at a more curable stage.

Advanced Laboratory Diagnostics
Stop guessing. Start addressing. Most tests measure only 3-6 biomarkers. Marshall measures 40+ for a complete picture of your health, including advanced biomarkers rarely available in mainstream
medicine. When reviewed with proper context, a true picture of your health emerges and a plan for optimization can be created.

Whole Body & Brain MRI
A whole-body MRI scan looks at the body from head to toe to and cancers, inflammation, or obstructive processes in the body. In the head, the exam can show brain masses, shrinkage, old strokes, the sinuses, and nasal cavities. In the neck, abnormalities in the lymph nodes, thyroid masses or arthritis in the cervical spine can be identified. In the chest, we check the heart for enlargement and the aorta for aneurysms. Moving to the abdomen and pelvis, we can evaluate the kidneys, liver, spleen, adrenal glands, gallbladder (gallstones), pancreas, bladder, uterus, and ovaries. We look at the spine to check for disc herniation and spinal stenosis, and in the extremities, arthritis in the joints. An additional exam of a specific area may be required if an abnormality is identified to obtain more detailed information.

Vitamin B Nutrient Lab Panel
All the B vitamins together are called the “B vitamin complex.” The B vitamins are:
B1, thiamine. B2 riboflavin. B3 niacin (also called nicotinic acid and nicotinamide)
Antioxidant and Micronutrient Lab Panel
Antioxidants fight free radicals and can stop free radical reactions. Antioxidants work to prevent damage and can, at times, reverse damage. Antioxidants can boost your immune system. A balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds provides all the antioxidants your body needs.

Fitness Screening
A Fitness Assessment plays a crucial role in promoting optimal health & well-being. The detailed evaluation by Marshall Medical Fitness Personnel – Performance Health Coaches and Personal
Trainer helps to identify individual strengths and weaknesses, tailor exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle programs to meet specific needs, and enhance overall health and quality of life.
Neurocognitive Function Testing
This is a specialized evaluation designed to assess cognitive capabilities and neurologic health.

Sleep Apnea Screening
A medical consultation is not complete without a thorough screening for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). It is impossible for patients to achieve optimal health without addressing this devastating condition. Although society has turned snoring into something comedic. Make no mistake, sleep apnea can kill you. When a patient has this disorder and it is not treated, the body has only two choices nightly: Die! Low oxygen is not compatible with Life. Or dramatically alter the body
chemistry, hormonal rhythms and metabolism to survive.
Prostate Cancer Screening - Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA)
Marshall has an individualized approach to screening, monitoring, surveying men. At the minimum, all men older than forty should receive a yearly PSA screen. Follow up and frequency of repeat testing
will be personalized to the patient. Marshall has an algorithmic approach to PSA management that was developed in collaboration with a Board-Certified Urologist.

Advanced Diagnostics FAQs
What are advanced diagnostics?
Advanced diagnostics are specialized medical tests and screenings designed to identify health risks, disease processes, and biological changes before symptoms develop. These tools provide a deeper understanding of your health than a traditional annual physical and help create a personalized strategy for disease prevention, longevity, and performance optimization.
Why is advanced diagnostic testing important?
Many serious health conditions—including heart disease, cancer, metabolic disorders, and cognitive decline—can develop silently for years before symptoms appear. Advanced diagnostic testing helps detect potential issues earlier, allowing for more proactive treatment, prevention, and health optimization.
What types of advanced diagnostic tests do you offer?
Marshall Lifestyle Medicine offers a comprehensive suite of advanced diagnostic services that may include whole-body MRI, cardiac CT calcium scoring, Galleri multi-cancer early detection testing, advanced laboratory diagnostics, genetic fitness and nutrition testing, food sensitivity testing, neurocognitive assessments, sleep apnea screening, prostate cancer screening, and biological age testing.
What is a whole-body MRI?
A whole-body MRI is a non-invasive imaging scan that evaluates the body from head to toe without radiation exposure. It can help identify abnormalities involving the brain, spine, organs, joints, and other tissues while supporting early disease detection and preventive healthcare planning.
Is a whole-body MRI worth it?
For individuals focused on preventive healthcare and longevity, a whole-body MRI can provide valuable insight into hidden health concerns before symptoms develop. Many patients view it as an investment in early detection, proactive care, and long-term health management.
What is a Cardiac CT Calcium Score?
A Cardiac CT Calcium Score measures calcium buildup within the coronary arteries. The test helps assess the risk of cardiovascular disease and may identify early signs of plaque accumulation before symptoms occur, allowing for earlier intervention and risk reduction strategies.
What is the Galleri Early Cancer Detection Test?
The Galleri test is an advanced blood test designed to detect cancer signals across multiple cancer types, including many cancers that currently lack routine screening options. The goal is to identify cancer earlier, when treatment outcomes may be more favorable.
Who should consider advanced cancer screening?
Adults who are interested in proactive health management, have a family history of cancer, are concerned about cancer risk, or want additional screening beyond standard preventive guidelines may benefit from discussing advanced cancer screening options with their healthcare provider.
What is advanced biomarker testing?
Advanced biomarker testing evaluates a wide range of health indicators related to cardiovascular health, metabolic function, inflammation, hormone balance, nutrition, organ health, and disease risk. These insights help create highly personalized healthcare and longevity strategies.
How is advanced laboratory testing different from routine blood work?
Traditional blood work often focuses on a limited number of markers. Advanced laboratory testing evaluates a broader range of biomarkers to provide a more comprehensive picture of overall health, disease risk, and opportunities for optimization.
What is biological age testing?
Biological age testing measures how your body is aging at the cellular level rather than simply calculating your age based on your birthday. This information can help assess the impact of lifestyle, nutrition, exercise, stress, and health habits on long-term aging and longevity.
What is genetic fitness and nutrition testing?
Genetic fitness and nutrition testing analyzes specific genetic markers that influence how your body responds to exercise, nutrition, recovery, and weight management. These insights help create more personalized lifestyle and wellness recommendations.
Can advanced diagnostics help prevent disease?
Advanced diagnostics are designed to identify potential health risks earlier, often before symptoms develop. Early detection allows patients and physicians to implement preventive strategies that may reduce the risk of future disease and improve long-term health outcomes.
How often should advanced diagnostic testing be performed?
The frequency of testing depends on age, family history, personal risk factors, health goals, and previous test results. Your healthcare provider will develop a personalized screening schedule based on your individual needs.
